Biography

Whether a photo tells a story or captures a moment that is ambiguous, mysterious, or serendipitous, I believe it's the way the beholder feels when viewing it that makes it Art, and motivates revisitation for their own inspiration. Similarly, how someone might have a mantra to evoke a certain state of mind, I'm attempting to achieve that in my Art.

Photography has been the unavoidable and undeniable interest and passion that’s been steadily expanding throughout my life. Unavoidable, growing up in a house where all members have worked and still work in the film industry, I was clearly drawn to the tools and products of a master and mentor who happened to be my father. Undeniably, this intergenerational appreciation of the craft connects me to my dad, just as he was inspired by the passion of photography of his father before him.
